All it took was a purple polo and gray bow tie for Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) to make a big wardrobe change.
Polis donned the questionable combo while speaking on the House floor Tuesday, sparking a spirited set of opinions from GQ writer Dennis Tang.
“Worst ever?” Tang asked. “Yeah, right, how bad could it possiblyyyyyeeesh, okay, yeah, now that I look at it. Definitely. Is that a purple golf polo? With a bow tie?”
Polis took the criticism in stride, accepting the magazine’s offer.
